Hi all,
It has certainly been a while.
I have been very busy setting up PrototypeZ Studios, and preparing many designs for my resin releases, yes Street Fighter included!
Here's a sneak of my new releases, coming in both model kit form, and pre-paints.

My second model kit/prepaint release will be "Space Leviathan" I was going to call it Star Beast in honor of the film Alien, but who knows, that may be another piece down the road muahaha!

Anyway let me tell you a bit more about the space Leviathan...the Space Leviathan is one of the Abaddon Patriarchs referred to in my short story titled "SPace host" You can read the story here, I first published it here on my blog back in July:

New class info!

Hi all,
Here's more info in regards to my class.

Classes will start the first Saturday of September at 11am pacific time ( Los Angeles time).

We will meet online each Saturday at the same time.

I accept any major credit/debit cards

**payment is due in full by August 31st.

***Class is limited to 15 people.

Many people have contacted me so please guys, first to pay will be the first 15 people officially in.

Payments cannot be reimbursed, but can be taken as credit for our second course in case you cannot take this course for whatever reasons.

Also the cost of $200 is an introductory price, next course will be a bit higher in cost, but then again each course will cover different stuff, but this will happen in the near future. For now let us focus on the class at hand .

**The class will be taught in a way that either Pros or newcomers can learn.**

Each class will last 3 hours, and will each take place on Saturdays at the same time ( 11:am L.A. Time/pacific time)

I cannot record sessions yet, but I will do my best to be able to offer that in very near the future.

Up to 5 people can show me their webcams ( while I show mine) ( if you have an HD webcam it is better) so I can see your progress.

As for our first class you do not need any materials.

For our second class you will need materials in case you choose to follow along , but mostly if you so desire you can just watch throughout all 5 sessions.

If you choose to follow along please be aware that during the first class I will give you a small list of materials required and give you a small demo, but an important one.

The purpose is for you to get acquainted with the materials/tools you may need. I will show you how to make your own basic tools. Also I will give you as much information on where to get these supplies here in the U.S. but mostly you should be able to get most stuff in any other places in the world. You can get clay/in most countries, in case you have a hard time finding sculpey, you can always use regular clay from a local art store, or buy your stuff online.

HD Webcam Sculpting classes with Erick Sosa

Hi guys,
I am just gauging interest for some online sculpting classes. For the longest time I have wanted to share with people how I go about sculpting my pieces. The technology was just not there until just a few months ago. Technically I want to open my studio doors ( virtually) to anyone interested in learning, and anyone interested in getting a behind the scenes pass into actual projects being developed.

I also want to use this tool to connect with fans throughout the world, during free meetings or "open house/studio sessions" scheduled once a month etc". Basically anyone with a computer can come to my studio and check what is new, and trust me I am working on a lot of cool stuff, some I cannot show, but there are some that I have permission to show, and that is where the fun begins, you will be a guest in my humble 2 car garage studio :)

Ok let's move on to the class info:

As of tonight, I have successfully shared my first online TEST class , we will start in two weeks guys.
I am thinking classes will be once a week for 3 hours each class, for a total of 4 classes, and perhaps a fifth class for review and questions etc.... I am really excited to say the least, as I can basically share my studio, a bit of my knowledge, and my crazy creature design ideas with whomever is interested.
***I would later on make my creations (developed throughout each course) available as model kits for you to study in person. People that sign up for my class will get a special discount for each model kit I make.
We will cover and explore together the following:

Sculpting a creature bust in Super sculpey
Primary form,
Expressions that bring your sculpt to life,
Secondary form,
Wax transfer,
wax sculpting essentials.
The tentative price would be $200 per person for 4 weeks
Bonus 5th class for review, questions/answers etc.

I would take payment through pay pal only. Classes would be taught through Gotomeeting with a limit of 15 people per session and 15 people per course as well.

Streaming will be in HD, with an HD camera for your viewing pleasure.
I just had a test class tonight , and it works just swimmingly, the resolution is incredible! I can also view you web cam, as to check the progress of your own creations, and give you better input. This technology is real cool guys!

JULY UPDATE!!! SPACE HOST STORY

Well, it certainly has been a crazy few months. And even longer since I updated this blog... sorry guys! Well, I have tons to show. First of all , I have partnered with YAMATO TOYS to bring you a line of original creations by your truly, in the vein of their current FFG line, or Fantasy Figure Gallery.
The reaction at Comic Con last week was so good, that they decided to make my line (Originally called "Invocations" as part of their FFG line under "Sculptor's originals).

First in the line is"Space Host" a space alien that serves as a host to a beautiful female astronaut named Keira , who is dying.... she becomes infected with a virus in the middle of an alien war where humans have sided with one of two alien races that have come to earth fighting for the ultimate source of energy and life, human souls! One faction to protect us, the other to use us as an energy source and ultimately destroy us.

Through the miracle of science Keira's life is saved by her host, a benevolent yet powerful alien Priest and warrior know only as The Patriarch who has lost most of his limbs in trying to save Keira's life.

In an effort to save both his race and what is left of humanity, and in order for both woman and creature to survive...he latches onto her arm...and infuses her with the power of the EON-ACUMEN , an energy that is composed of micro intelligences ...it is said that intelligence permeates every single particle of matter in the universe...and only the Patriarchs have come to the knowledge of handling these intelligences in order to create the universe, this is how they have achieved their grand status if architects of the Cosmos.
Countless worlds, and galaxies have been created through the power of EON-ACUMEN every being in the Universe, even humans.

For knowledge of the control of EON-ACUMEN cannot be handled without the principles of righteousness, and this is what will forever keep the Abaddon from ever attaining such power, for they know nothing pertaining to righteousness, only evil permeates their very beings.

Yet it is said that since time immemorial said knowledge has been twisted and used for the evil purposes of the* Abaddon, the ancient race that is said to have branched out from the order of the Patriarchs, only this time their efforts will be more dramatic and powerful than ever before...for there are some humans that are willing to serve the evil faction, so it starts a new age of conflict, in which humans will play their biggest role..... get ready for new series of Bio-fusioned beings!

New year new blog, new everything!
I am pleased to let you know I have a lot of real cool goodies that will be shown at New York Toy Fair very soon.
Also, I will have a few surprises at Comic con, my own line of statues, yes you heard right! I will keep you posted, it has been a long time coming, but I finally got to that point.
2010, was "the year I made contact" nope not with aliens but with digital sculpting, and now with that tool at my side, it is only up hill from now on!
I should have real cool updates very soon...... meanwhile check this girl out... still very rough... but she will be done very soon!

Hi guys,
It has been a while, and many things are happening right now.
A dear friend of mine told me a while ago to try my hand at Zbrush 4, another said once he heard I was trying out ZB "your name is fitting because Zkulptor almost implies you work in digital Z like Zbrush you succumbed to your destiny man"

Destiny or not...I honestly did not feel adequate with the program, the interface for Zbrush looks a bit complicated, and I am not a even well versed in Photoshop, paint, or even Tetris... or the Wii...so... I refused to try it out, plus a lot of the Superhero models I would see done in ZB felt a bit void of certain elements that make a sculpt ... well more organic, for example the asymmetry and such, little details, mistakes if you will, not that they were not great sculpts, but something was missing...
these new digital versions looked too perfect, and everything was too polished for my taste, then again I had seen some amazingly detailed models, but I was not sure I would ever develop the tech skills to achieve such level, heck in my mind I thought that would require years of learning not just ZB but many other programs, that quite frankly I was not willing nor I had the time to learn.....

I tried ZB once... hated the thing... I kept trying to "sculpt" but the silly mouse in my hand refused to create anything other than just erratic forms, and blobs... then my friend William told me I should use my pen tablet... oh man.... that changed everything... then I took an online course with the famous Ryan Kingslien http://zbrushworkshops.com/ , Ryan opened my eyes, his classes and teaching method, and most of all his extensive knowledge of the program ( he worked with Pixologic bringing a lot of cool features to the ZB software.. so you know he KNOWS what he is talking about) and his patience, were key to achieve such realization... I saw the infinite possibilities, the speed, the little cheats, or HUGE cheats I should say... like the "symmetry" option, basically I can sculpt one ear while the program mimics the same patterns of movement and at the very same time sculpts the other ear... this turns an already decently fast sculptor , into a machine! I can then go back, and turn the symmetry option off, and tweak my mirrored forms as to create the feeling of asymmetry all over.... pure genius!
I also realize I can now take on 6 models or even more at the same time rather than just 2- 3 large statues.... and in ZB scale doesn't matter.... so I can sculpt say a Juggernaut just as easy as sculpting a Superman... heck I can grab a superman model and easily turn him into a Juggernaut , or Hulk..... honest to goodness, see I told you it was fun.. and speaking if which.. this thing is addictive as heck....

After seeing the possibilities this is when I realized, the one tool I was missing, the one thing that could set me free, of the chains of insane deadlines, last minute changes that end up taking days to fix... making that body "15% larger".... was this little program... and yes all of that frustration would be gone... changes in ZB are as easy as literally clicking a button... others take just a a few minutes, but not days..TRUST me!
Technically I can now, sculpt from a base model , tweak in hours, and be done by the end of the day, send for printing and in 2 weeks I will have a perfect physical rendition of my Zb sculpt in my hands... ready to tweak certain elements like the hands, and face, perhaps even hair in wax.... sounds like fun... and not like stress to me... speaking of printing check out http://ownage.com/
and http://moddler.com/ these guys are awesome for your printing needs, and their prices are some of the best.

Getting back to ZB, I also realized the most important thing about it ... it is not the software that has obvious limits, it is the user's limited knowledge of the program and his/her understanding of form, anatomy, flow, balance, contrapposto , etc.... that truly sets the boundaries... in Zbrush you can sculpt ANYTHING.... in ANY style... to me it is like that ring the Green Lantern uses, only limited by his imagination.... which takes us to the question why is green Lantern always coming up with silly huge hammers/ gloves instead of sophisticated weapons? for example if I were Green lantern I would summon a tiny little ray gun which would fire huge intergalactic sized waves of energy that would divide any evil foe into tiny subatomic particles, then re-create him/them while re-writing their DNA so that they would be slightly more inclined to do good than bad, and by each good interaction said character had with others, the same change would instantly occur to these new beings... that way I would get rid of all crime in the galaxy in about 24 hours..... hahah , yes I am a nerd....anyway.... let's get back on topic ...

My main and greatest concern with Zbrush...was that my style would not show through... well I've come to know for myself that was an unfounded fear .... I am barely taking baby steps as you can see from my sketches above, but I am confident, by this time next year I will be a bit better haha.

The fact I opened my eyes to this new tool does NOT mean I will not implement traditional means to each sculpt I do for the industry... fear not, the solution to a faster pipeline ( at least for me) will always require a final step, and that is to finish a sculpt in wax, with added small details that I know no CG program can match.... yet... so for the time being Zbrush and my traditional skills will work together to create better faster developed products.....
I will now work less hours than before, watch my daughters grow.. be able to take vacations, sculpt traditionally just for fun... and finish my own line of statues... and that my friends is such an exquisite feeling..... freedom...smells good!

Hi guys,
Here's my latest creation.... this will be a part of a line titled "infinite dimensions"
A series of prepainted statues produced by a very cool company ,no more dteails yet, but all I will say is , I will be able to tackle any creature, as long as it is accompanied by a hot girl ;) monsters form every lore, myth, leyend, etc.... anything from Werewolves, to aliens.... I am still reviewing the details of the contract, but I will make an official announcement very soon :)
As you can see I did a very bad sketch ( notice I used the face of one of Sorayama's girls as to help the Silva's see what kind of expression her face would have) and conveyed the whole setting to the Silva Brothers, they in return came up with this!
The Silva Brothers are available for commissions, they do, sequential art ( Comics), pencils, inks, and digital painting, they are VERY busy working for Dark Horse, but the wait will be worth it if you commission them:

This girl is based on the art work for Mr. Hajime Sorayama, did you know that his work was key in helping the designer of Robocop create the character/suit ?
Anyway this girl is 12.5 inches tall with heels, this is very rough still but I will keep updating everyone!

Hi again everyone,
It seems after many years of trying to achieve producing my own creations, a very powerful company in the collectibles arena has approached me to create as they stated "whatever comes out of my imagination"!
I am so happy about this, as it may become the stepping stone that could allow me to jump from freelancer to sole creator/producer... eventually this is all I want to do, and I will :)
This means a lot to me, as it will finally allow me to spend more time with my family, and get more sleep, and finally some vacation time :)

Oh man, this likeness is hard.... I have to stop for the night.....I may never be completely happy with him...but I will keep trying... maybe he needs a torso...hard to see Superman without the rest of him.... anyway here's some in progress pictures... still tons to do , finish ears, tweak here and there, add texture/pores etc.... then I will mold, and tweak wax original and give him an expression, as it is, he just looks dead to me... but it will be easier to create different versions once I capture him in a static expression...I really want to go for the angry ticked off supes, or the evil Superman.... or the smiling one......

COMIC CON 2010, the fruit of a team's labors!

Hello everyone,
it's been a while since I posted anything new... for the past 8 months or so, I have been working with Kotobukiya, and it has gladly been hectic ever since.
Nearly 20 projects later here I am.... dang so much practice has made me a bit faster... but my eye bags are heavy hahah!
Anyway.. here's some images of some works done for both Koto, Triforce, Yamato, and DC last year.

HARDEST LIKENESS EVER!! CRISTOPHER REEVE

Hi guys,
Today I took a small break after some crazy deadlines, tomorrow I am back on the saddle , but today I worked a on this.... I honestly almost gave up last year... Chris Reeve is just too hard to capture.... but today I felt the urge to work on him.... once I get a break I will finish this guy.... his hair is just a mock up....

I still see a lot of problems, but sometimes it is better to let go for a while when it comes to portraits.
I am sure I will look at it next week and go " what was I thinking"..... it happens all the time...
This is a personal project, and I really want it too look as close to Mr. Reeve as possible, plus this is more of a static expression study, once I feel comfortable with the likeness both sculpted and painted ( I may have to keep going back to tweaking even after casting and painting). Then I will start making different expressions, angry ( scene where Otis want to take his cape) , determined ( scene where he walks out of revolving door/flying after missiles) , and smiling ( end credits)
I will make two bodies, museum, and flying with different sets of arms ( forward/ by his thighs) waving goodbye etc.
I would also like to make a bust, and an action figure ala Hot Toys....and finally him battling a more Hollywod FX-esque Doomsday... then I can die in piece :P in all honesty at least it will be a resin statue ( Flying)
This is 1/6th BTW.

DELICIOUS MISO CHASHU RAMEN!

Guys,
William and I in the spirit of working with our new Japanese partners have become addicted to Ramen as of the last couple of days , but not just any Ramen, but Miso Chashu Ramen....!!!!!
This is a great place were usually Norm Meyers, Paul Komoda, and us meet, but lately we have been so busy we only get take out... this is the best food in the San fernando Valley!!! look it up... Nippon Ramen on Reseda blvd.

So good and spicy, it always makes us feel happy!
If you have never had Ramen, I suggest you try Misso Chashu..... extra pork, extra noodle, and you will be enlightened !

Hi guys,
Here's a new creature I am working on, life is not without a sense of irony and this time Jordu Schell film creature designer by trade, gets turned into a creature by yours truly.... Jordu is always making faces while teaching his classes, and there was this one particular one that would always creep me out... so I decided to sculpt that, and turn it into a monster....Please understand I am doing this in my free time which means bathroom breaks these days hahaha! I will finish this little guy soon!

It's that time again, needed to update, I am not going to lie, if I were able to talk about all the cool stuff William Valenzuela, Jorge Martinez and I have been working on you'd not believe it.... this is the best time in our careers so far, pure bliss!

Hi guys,
I have just been allowed to show this.
Let me just say this project means a lot to me, as it opened an opportunity for me to work for one of my favorite Japanese companies.
Also this project was a special one, I was asked to get it sculpted, molded/casted, and painted within 2 and a half weeks, which was insane, since the character has so much gear ,3 pairs of arms,and details, my baby daughter Erika was due any day within those two weeks of grueling work, with another big Gears of war 2 project on top of us ( see post before this one ) and sure enough 4 days before the deadline she was born, making things a bit harder for me and everyone involved, we were told it would not be possible to get this done, but still they trusted us, and we delivered.
My baby daughter Erika was born with some health/digestive issues, so much so that she had to be rushed to UCLA medical to get microsurgery, needless to say your ( Clubhouse members/family and friends) support/posts/e-mails helped me through this.

Anyway this project was a blessing in disguise, it has literally changed my life and my career, taking me to a direction I always wanted but that otherwise would have been just a dream, and now it is a reality, I can finally get to come up with ideas, and actually bring them to life the way I see fit, no more restrictions! Thanks Koto and Triforce!

GEARS OF MADNESS!

Hi guys,
This is one of two projects I just finished for Triforce,
been working on it for the past 5 months, We got this done between William Valenzuela and I, with help of Toi OgunYoku putting some parts together and stencil work , painted by Paul Komoda , castings by our very own Jorge Martinez a.k.a. Fenix and Dan Adams.
This riffle is a HUGE 40 inches long! And many a times it made us cry like little girls... it was a lot of work.
This is the biggest project I have ever worked on, bar none, after working on this ....Armored stuff ( which I used to fear) seems like a walk in the park..because this was sooo hard... honestly I rather get mauled by the whole Locust horde hahaha just kidding, we learned a lot and we couldn't be any happier!

I have been extremely busy finishing some HUGE projects, and there's still this other GIANT project I am finishing for the good guys at Triforce.
I have managed to do some portrait work in between such ginormous projects just to keep my sanity.

Calm after the storm

Hi all,
I just want to thank everyone for their prayers, and thoughtful e-mails, and support.
As you can see it has been hard for me to update the blog, with so many things going on, I am a bit behind with some stuff but I have been pulling a lot of all nighters to get things done, and finally catch up.
As soon as I am done with some HUGE , and by that I mean ginormous projects, I will get back to finishing some personal projects and hopefully I will be able to update the blog on a more regular basis.
Erika is doing great, she's home, and here's some images that attest to her happy nature :)
My eldest daughter Keira has been real busy for the last few weeks sculpting anything that comes to mind, I think she's going to make me a lot of money and I can retire in the next few years.... no seriously I am amazed at how good she is at conveying stuff with her little fingers..... she is holding an unicorn in her hand by the way, later on I taught her how to make rabbits, and I promise she came up with this little guy, she even punched the eyes in, I only did the smile and the lashes on the right eye, I promise she did everything else on her own after I showed her how to go about it.... here's hoping for a brighter future :) Thanks for reading.

Hi guys,
It's been a while, a lot of things have happened in the past 3 weeks.
April 25th 11pm changed my whole life for ever,
0ur third daughter, Erika Lizbeth Sosa is here, she was born with some health issues, she has gone through laser surgery, she's had needles pocked into her to the point where now they are all in her forehead, she fed for two weeks on IV only, she's a little warrior! She's still fighting at our local NICU (Neonatal intensive care unit), I know people say this all the time but I experience a very peaceful feeling everytime I go see her, it's like all the cares in the world wash away, she's a very special child.
I must say I am counting my blessings, as I have become aware of other parents going through the same issues, if not even worse problems than us, and I wonder how they cope, if they have firends there for them, if they will be strong enough.....I cannot help but pray for these people, so they can have the strenght to beat the odds, to stay firm.
As I write this I am so beat, physically, more so than anything, the emotional part... well I think we got through it pretty fast, it is not every day that you hear that your baby will probably not lead a very normal life, but whatever the outcome we will be there for her until the end.
My wife is doing great, she's a great support for me, she keeps going even though she is aware she just had a baby and needs to rest.
I am amazed as to how how people have come together to help us, there hasn't been a day that we haven't received help in some way or another, be it babysitting our other two daughters, cooking for us, calling to offer words of support, or to help me with some work related projects.
I want to give a shout out to Norm Meyers, Paul Komoda, William Valenzuela, Jorge Martinez, Jordu Schell, and all the kind people ( too many to mention) helping us through this.

This is my second sculpt ever! my first one was a T-rex, but it exploded in the kiln, my teacher forgot to punch a hole in the Dinosaur's tummy.... so what was I to do? sculpt a great white off course ! I was around almost four or so. This piece reminds me, that I must keep improving my skills!

Yes, Christian Bale's nose is crooked.... anyway....here's a new update.... well sorta, more like showing you new images of Ahnuld and his old buddies, And yes Ahnuld will be naked...more updates in the future....
these are sculpts that I have had in my studio since before 2007 some of them anyway, Jack Sparrow (you can see he's all cracked up) was a project for Master Replicas, a nightmare.... had to sculpt 4 1/6th scale scene replicas in one week each, literally 7 days each.... 4 of them and one of me.....one of the characters was Davy Jones, the movie was still in theaters....no reference....no sleep... very scary.....I've never made so much cash in 4 weeks though ....but I would never do it again for a million bucks.... honest.

So I did this in a couple of hours... not happy with it yet, but tomorrow I will see what it is I do not like, and will refine accordingly.... and no I am not bragging about the time it took to build, it is actually very easy with Zen wax :wink:

First I must apologize, for taking so long to update the blog.
I just wanted to show you some things I have been working on.
Not much to show, but hopefully this guy will be done soon, I am also working on a very extended line of revamped universal monsters, and even some original creatures, that will be part of a story that I am developing just for fun, please forgive my weakness in writing, it is not my forte, but I sure did enjoy writing this little story, as I always asked myself, what would happen if the roles of Dracula and Van Helsing were reversed, what would trigger such event, and thus this idea was born.

Not much is known publicly about this new version of Frankenstein, all that is known and should remain known is that he is a revamped version of the old prototype, created by Viktor Frankenstein lead Scientist of the synthetic soldier program of 2009, assisted by Katrina and myself .
A formidable biomechanical beast, bulletproof, fire proof, with super strength, with an I.Q. of 230, with a heart of a child... General DraKula's child... sadly all that is left from the child is a mere skewed reflection of the one child General Drakula fathered with mortal scientist Kathrina Van Helsing chief assistant to Doctor Frankenstein.
His heart saved by science thanks to his mother, and imbued with power from the beyond due to his father's highly complex, yet powerful DNA ..... the once feared Drakula...
This new version of Frankenstein possesses none of the weaknesses his predecessor seemed to display, with all his senses enhanced he is a powerhouse fighting for our nation's freedom. His vampire gene is in a dormant state due to DNA manipulation, hence; he is not a Vampire in the strict sense of the word.

The Year 2050:

The creature always ready to help the now reformed DraKula in the on going battle against the now corrupted Van Helsing.
the first in an army of creatures of the night specifically engineered by Drakula himself and built by Victor Frankenstein to protect a world devastated by the self proclaimed Lord Van Helsing, a former hero, a now corrupted being with extreme hatred for anything living... or undead....yet using his undead minions carry out his evil and twisted will.

18th century Transylvania

It is rumored Van Helsing out of spite after realizing his own daughter had fallen in love with the evil Drakula, and that they had secretly married in a a bow to become eternal companions, it is rumored Van Helsing tried to kill them both, but after realizing that even Drakula had been transformed by true love, and had become a noble husband and father, and a shadow of his former self, Van Helsing went mad, not believing Drakula's choice to become good, but in reality Van Helsing realized he no longer had a purpose to continue his existence, and out of spite, and in a turn of events, killed his own grandson, by decapitating him, as to him the child represented an unholy union between man ( God's greatest creation) and and evil .
In a fit of rage Drakula wounded Van Helsing with his fangs, not without Van Helsing piercing DraKula's heart with an alien like silver sword, while he selfishly and fruitlessly tried to protect his wife from the powerful blow.....leaving them both mortally wounded.... they survived thanks to the care of Doctor Victor Frankenstein, but this came at a great price as Drakula was stripped from all his powers except his immortality, it seems the sword he had been wounded with contained a trace metal , same metal that was found in the molecular composition of the Roswell Metamoona alien space craft incident. Wether the metamoona aliens were involved in the forging of such a weapon is not yet known.
Capable of turning the undead into vulnerable human beings, nearly over 3 centuries later, with the aid of scientific advancements Frankenstein's experiments proved fruitful as he was able to override the effects caused by the sword, thus endowing Drakula with even greater abilities than before specially allowing him to control his thirst by sheer will, and feeding on UV rays... (his only known weakness is over exposure to darkness/ more than 3 days in a row without UV rays) and allowing him to become a day walker, this led to his proselyting among humans and even convincing of a great majority of undead and anomallies alike to accept a better life in the bast underground city of new Los Angeles built under the UNDREGROUND TREATIE of 2001
After offering his services to the U.S. Government in order to establish the UNDERGROUND TREATIE of 2001 Vladimir Tepesh and his scientific team were offered protection and were made head of the Project Synthetic soldier of 2009 , in order to create a core group of enhanced soldiers out of willing undead beings, and anomalies ( werewolves, mutants, aliens) that were eager to protect the world from the Van Helsing organization, and their minions, in order to protect both their kind and humans beings.

CURE:
The cure created by Victor Frankesntein in 1976, was approved by the U.S. Government under President Barak Obama to be used on all of the undead that willingly have decided to live in Communion with each other in a peaceful underground city developed by the U.N. as a haven for all the undead, werewolves, yeti, skin walkers, and any genetic anomaly, that willingly chooses to leave their aggressive behaviors behind, in exchange for peace and freedom.

Lord Van Helsing on the other hand escaped after his attack to the Drakula family , eventually healing from his wound, and swearing that he would destroy the one that caused this great pain and turned him into what he hated most.... a monster! He promised himself that he would not allow Drakula's curse to take over him.
But as decades went by Van Helsing kept to himself, inside his laboratory, trying to find a cure. slowly giving into the thirst... first he would feed with the blood of cattle, and when science allowed , he used synthetic blood, but as time went by his urge for human blood outgrew his will and desire to be cured, eventually rendering him at the mercy of the twisted need to feed from human blood.
Realizing that he had become his worst nightmare he set out to destroy his own daughter, fueled by her so called betrayal to him and to God himself.
In his twisted mind he seeked to redeem himself by destroying all life as we know it.
Truly van Helsing had become more evil than Drakula had ever been, as he thought -like all evil despots from the past- that he was carrying out heaven's will in destroying and torturing all lesser beings in his " righteous" path... purifying them from their own so called demons.
This witch hunt was not limited to men women, and children, but even animals, and of course the undead. As he's discovered that the U.S has become and Allie and even recruited Drakula as one of their generals , his rage is now also focused in destroying our nation.

The evil self proclaimed Lord, used all of his fortune, gathering the best in the scientific community to achieve his "noble" purpose throughout the decades.... he's established the van Helsing Organization.
Now, he's dedicated to torturing humans, with evil experiments, merging humans and anomalies with machines, ultimately engineering his own soldiers of the undead, in order to create a grand army, of biomechanical beasts, powerful enough to assist in getting rid of anything related to his former daughter ( humans) and any remnants of the great Drakula..the undead. He is been connected to many terrorist acts throughout the world, and he must be stopped. Whether the Metamoona mutant race is involved in providing Van Helsing with technological advancements, it is not a established fact yet, but many investigations have led us to believe that Van Helsing is indeed working with advanced alien technology.
Year 2050:
He walks the earth with his his genetically brainwashed minions such as the Phantom, Jekyll, Yeti, Bigfoot, and , Igor... among others.
These creatures are powerful warriors, all engineered to bring down Dracula and his own army of night walkers. A new war is brewing, a war as that as far as humans know it is a war of evil VS evil.

Sayonara heartburn!

Hello guys,
This is not sculpting related, but it sure has allowed me to get back on the sculpting train!
Thing is, I have been suffering of heartburn since I started taking Excedrin Migraine like 4 years ago or so.
Anyway, last week I got so sick with a migraine, that I had to pop in some excedrin ( tablets)..thing is this time the heartburn wouldn't go away, and it did not go away until this morning that I discovered something amazing...water.
I cannot describe this, but I woke up so sick this morning, yet again, and I have been afraid of getting a migraine because if even drinking water would burn, I imagined taking the migraine pills would destroy my stomach...and my doctor did not help much :(

Colitis pain is a signal of water shortage in the large gut. It is associated with constipation because the large intestine constricts to squeeze the last drop of water from the excrements - thus the lack of water lubrication.

Tragedy: Not recognizing colitis pain as a sign of dehydration will cause persistent constipation. Later in life, it will cause fecal impacting: it can cause diverticulitis, hemorrhoids and polyps, and appreciably increases the possibility of developing cancer of the colon and rectum.
Cure # 7: Water and salt prevent and cure asthma.

Asthma, which also affects 14 million children and kills several thousand of them every year, is a complication of dehydration in the body. It is caused by the drought management programs of the body. In asthma free passage of air is obstructed so that water does not leave the body in the form of vapor - the winter steam. Increased water intake will prevent asthma attacks. Asthmatics need also to take more salt to break the mucus plugs in the lungs that obstruct the free flow of air in and out of the air sacs.

Tragedy: Not recognizing asthma as the indicator of dehydration in the body of a growing child not only will sentence many thousands of children to die every year, but will permit irreversible genetic damage to establish in the remaining 14 million asthmatic children.
Cure # 8: Water prevents and cures high blood pressure.

Hypertension is a state of adaptation of the body to a generalized drought, when there is not enough water to fill all the blood vessels that diffuse water into vital cells. As part of the mechanism of reverse osmosis, when water from the blood serum is filtered and injected into important cells through minute holes in their membranes, extra pressure is needed for the "injection process." Just as we inject I.V. "water" in hospitals, so the body injects water into tens of trillions of cells all at the same time. Water and some salt intake will bring blood pressure back to normal!

Tragedy: Not recognizing hypertension as one of the major indicators of dehydration in the human body, and treating it with diuretics that further dehydrate the body will, in time, cause blockage by cholesterol of the heart arteries and the arteries that go to the brain. It will cause heart attacks and small or massive strokes that paralyze. It will eventually cause kidney disease. It will cause brain damage and neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease.
Cure # 9: Water prevents and cures early adult-onset diabetes.

Adult-onset diabetes is another adaptive state to severe dehydration of the human body. To have adequate water in circulation and for the brain's priority water needs, the release of insulin is inhibited to prevent insulin from pushing water into all body cells. In diabetes, only some cells get survival rations of water. Water and some salt will reverse adult-onset diabetes in its early stages.

Tragedy: Not recognizing adult-onset diabetes as a complication of dehydration will, in time, cause massive damage to the blood vessels all over the body. It will cause eventual loss of the toes, feet and legs from gangrene. It will cause eye damage, even blindness.
Cure # 10: Water lowers blood cholesterol.

High cholesterol levels are an indicator of early drought management by the body. Cholesterol is a clay-like material that is poured in the gaps of some cell membranes to safeguard them against losing their vital water content to the osmotically more powerful blood circulating in their vicinity. Cholesterol, apart from being used to manufacture nerve cell membranes and hormones, is also used as a "shield" against water taxation of other vital cells that would normally exchange water through their cell membranes.
Cure # 11: Water cures depression, loss of libido, chronic fatigue syndrome, lupus, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy.

These conditions are caused by prolonged chronic dehydration. They will clear up once the body becomes well and regularly hydrated. In these conditions, exercising one's muscles should be part of the treatment program.

"Bad Cholesterol": A Myth and a Fraud!

We in the medical profession, totally oblivious of the vital roles of cholesterol in the body, have been duped into thinking that it is this substance that causes arterial disease of the heart and the brain. The pharmaceutical industry has capitalized on the slogan of "bad cholesterol" and has produced toxic-to-the-body chemicals that minimally lower the level of cholesterol in the body and in the process cause liver damage to thousands of people, some who die as a result of using the medication.

It is surprising that none of the frequently quoted and media-popularized doctors has reflected on the fact that cholesterol levels are measured from blood taken from the veins, yet nowhere in medical literature is there a single case of cholesterol having caused obstruction of the veins. Venous blood moves far slower than arterial blood and thus would be more inclined to have cholesterol deposits if the assumption of "bad cholesterol" were accurate. This mistake by us in the medical community, and its capitalization by the pharmaceutical industry, has caused an ongoing fraud against society.

In truth, the so-called "bad" cholesterol is actually far more beneficial than is appreciated. The reason for its rise in the body is because of complications caused by chronic unintentional dehydration and insufficient urine production. Dehydration produces concentrated, acidic blood that becomes even more dehydrated during its passage through the lungs before reaching the heart – because of evaporation of water in the lungs during breathing. The membranes of the blood vessels of the heart and main arteries going up to the brain become vulnerable to the shearing pressure produced by the thicker, acidic blood. This shearing force of toxic blood causes abrasions and minute tears in the lining of the arteries that can peel off and cause embolisms of the brain, kidneys and other organs. To prevent the damaged blood vessel walls from peeling, low-density (so-called "bad") cholesterol coats and covers up the abrasions and protects the underlying tissue like a waterproof bandage until the tissue heals.

Thus, the vital, life-saving role of low-density cholesterol proves this substance is of utmost importance in saving the lives of those who do not adequately hydrate their bodies so that their blood can flow easily through the blood vessels without causing damage.

Cholesterol is an element from which many of our hormones are made. Vitamin D is made by the body from cholesterol in our skin that is exposed to sunlight. Cholesterol is used in the insulating membranes that cover our nerve systems. There is no such a thing as bad cholesterol. If all the primary ingredients are available for its normal functions, the human body does not engage in making things that are bad for its survival. Until now we did not know water was a vital nutrient that the body needed at all times – and in sufficient quantity.

Water itself – not caffeinated beverages that further dehydrate – is a better cholesterol-lowering medication than any chemical on the market. It is absolutely safe and is not harmful to the body like the dangerous medications now used. Please share this information with those you care for.

Arrgghhh heartburn

Hello guys,
I have been sick with heartburn since July 2nd, doctor said it will go away if I stop stressing, and if I keep eating healthy... oh well.
Been finishing some projects for Sideshow, and once I am done wrapping that up I will be back on track with Panthro, then I will move on to the New Cyberstein project I am working on with the Silva bros. from Argentina, those guys took my ideas and made them even better! Remember we are re hauling the whole Universal monster line, so let me know which are your favorites, I for one cannot wait to work on Dracula, The creature from the Black lagoon, The Mummy, The Wolfman, Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll, all in their new biomechanical glory, Takeya will be proud lol!

Hello yet again,
Here's another preview of a little exercise in anime... my friend Shin Tanabe has helped me so much with tips and techniques.. arigato Shin san!
Sculpting anime may look easy, but once you start on that path, specially if a master of the X-acto like Shin is going to see your work, well it can get real hard... everyting is so subtle....
I haven't been in touch with Shin, because he's very busy for Wonderfestival, and he is working on his own stuff, plus actual projects.
But anyway, sculpting anime is very demanding, we as westerners may think we know how to sculpt it , but we really don't, specially if you have to sculpt with feeling, yep Shin says it is a "feeling" kinda like a spiritual connection , that is a very cool thing, I love japanese culture, it is so awesome.
I am trying, but it is very hard.... I wish Shin comes back to the States soon, I have a "feeling" I may not be able to cut it as an anime sculptor....but I will keep trying for now :P

Hello guys,
My name is Erick Sosa, I am a toy/collectibles sculptor and designer, I have been working in the collectibles industry for about 14 years.
I am located in Los Angeles California, I used to live in Hollywood, but recently bought a home in the San Fernando Valley, I live around the corner from the Karate Kid's apartment building :)
Here's some images of some of my own personal works, I haven't finished them as I have been very busy working almost 100% for the good guys at Sideshow Collectibles.
